Our logo combines several levels of meaning. At first glance, you recognize the word NAP, and we immediately know that we are dealing with a short sleep episode: Sleep is our main theme! And with the P at the beginning (PnapS), we know that it's a "power nap" that is, a restful short nap.
And with the squiggly "S" at the end of the word, we revive the theme of sleep, just in its most general meaning. Sleep is the hub of our research and developed products. With our Physio-Monitor, we try not only to document the phases of sleep but also to determine the recovery value of the respective sleep. Furthermore, by recording and assessing the respective sleep parameters, we try to make a statement about the experienced or anticipated stress states. Thus, the term "stress" is included in this "S". And, as a third S, in a sense, the word " Space" is also thought of, because our research extends to manned space flight; We will follow space travelers everywhere into space.
With a little imagination, you may also recognize a "G" in this squiggly "S", with which the abbreviation for photoplethysmography, i.e. "PPG", has crept into our logo. PPG is the main method of our biomonitoring, a non-invasive assessment of skin blood flow using light.
And last but not least the guinea pig attached to Pnaps at the end wants to say that you are not our guinea pig, but a contributing partner to our journey on earth and in space.
